Bane Katic’s impressive career began in 2004 with two moderation training courses at AFK TV and ProSieben.
After further acting, moderation and speech training, his TV breakthrough came in 2008 when he fought his way through the casting rounds to become the presenter of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in Serbia and won.
“So in 2008 I stand in the Green Room in front of 180 million people and say “Hello Europe” – Bane Katic, 2008.
After Lena's Satellite victory in 2010, he came into contact with NDR and ultimately became the moderator of the over 90th international press conference of the ESC 2011 in Düsseldorf.
This makes Bane the only presenter in Europe to have hosted the ESC in two different countries.
For SAT.1, Bane traveled around the world as a reporter in over 13 countries, hosted the SAT.1 show “Der große Warencheck” and worked for TV channels such as ProSieben and FocusTV.
Today, Bane Katic is a sought-after public speaking coach who helps other people to speak freely and coaches them for their big and small appearances in front of the (online) camera.

09-10 am: Welcome, introduction of Bane, explanation of the 3 days, asking participants about their expectations
10-11 a.m.: Presentation of the current situation of the participants: At the beginning we talk about the current situation, where the speaker stands, what are their challenges, blockages, fears and what they are already doing particularly well but don't know it.
11am-12pm: Personal introduction of the participants in a different way: How does a person change when things get personal? What shines through as a personality? Let's find out.
12-1pm: Break
1-2 p.m.: "The perfect beginning" - "Begin in a way that keeps the audience with you," a practical exercise Can anyone hear me - or "It's great that you're all here" is definitely one of the 5 worst beginnings of any speech. I'll show you 6.5 top beginnings that you can use to do everything better in the future.
2-3 p.m.: Effect - developing body language for the stage in a group: I always say that the body is a chatterbox - it talks even when our lips aren't moving. And we want to convey a certain image - to have an EFFECT on the audience...
3-4 pm: Improvisation exercisesLet us free ourselves from the first blockages and fears - all facets are within us, we just have to activate them.
4-5 pm: Storytelling, 1001 Nights, Exercise: In silence lies the word, handing out the template for good presentations

9-10 am: Recap, clarify any questions that have arisen
10-11 a.m.: Exercise for 2: Introducing yourself in a different way: Each of us has to introduce ourselves again and again. To do this better, more authentically and more confidently in the future, we will practice introducing ourselves in a completely different way.
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Voice exercises: Warm-up exercises for the voice that you can also use and practice privately.
12-1pm: Break
1-3pm: Free speaking: Most people have a problem continuing to talk when they don't know what to say. In this exercise, Bane shows you how you can still talk without saying any nonsense.
3-3.30 pm: Break
3-5 p.m.: Exercise: "The man in your ear": Learn how to fill your speech with your emotions. Here we test our limits and go beyond them in order to incorporate more drama into our speech.
